5 day lime plaster workshop with Stephen Moller

4-8th April 2022, Waipapakauri beach,

$450 for 5 days including all meals and camping.

We will be plastering the exterior of this epic whare and inviting you to learn the theory and skills while you engage in hands on learning, as part of an awesome community with additional workshops and group activities.

Stephen is such a lovely guy; a leading specialist in lime plaster, specific to earth buildings. He’s run many workshops including the lime plastering of the aroha cob house at tanglewood

On the course you’ll learn:

Making lime plaster from scratch.

Design considerations and detailing for relief work and windows.

Preparation of substrate.

Plastering skills.

Surface finish and waterproofing.

You’ll need: Your own trowel, PPE and camping setup.
